Robbers hack ATM

Two robbers Saturday allegedly chopped off the hand of a security guard at an ATM, when he resisted their attempt to rob bank officials who were leaving after loading cash into the machine....
The motorcycle- borne robbers tried to grab a box the officials were holding, prompting guard Chandramurthy to rush to their rescue. But they chopped off the guard’s right hand and fled with the box, which was empty, police added.
